Our Professional Pictures

All I've been posting have been pictures from my camera phone. Now it's time to post up the professional pictures we had done with Gunnar. The first set was after Gunnar came home from the hospital and right after he stopped wearing his oxygen. They were taken by my friend Jill and then I edited them up to be unique. The second set was when he was 3.5 months old, right before I went back to work. I really liked the place we went and I'm planning to go there more often. Enjoy!

July Update

Ok it's been a while since I posted any updates and pictures of Gunnar. I apologize...but...I've been back to work for the past 3 week so I think I have a good excuse. Going back to work has been going really well. Ramin takes over baby duty from about 10pm at night (when I go to bed) until about 4-5am (when I wake up). I take care of the baby and try to make sure I have enough time to get myself ready until about 8am. Ramin sleepily takes over again until about 8:45 when my mom comes over for the day. She is here Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. On Wednesdays Ramin has full charge of the baby. If I'm home working he is still in charge but I will take breaks to help out.  This routine has been working out well for us and Gunnar is sleeping through the night most nights (sleeping through the night with 1-2 quick feedings).

We had our 4-month checkup and shots this past Tuesday. Gunnar weighed in at 12lbs, 10oz and was 23 inches long. He's starting to build up some chunky arms and legs but I hope he gets even more chunky. The shots went well...actually....Gunnar was sort of a crabby baby while we were at the Dr.'s office, but once we put him in his car seat and left, he was an angel. We headed off a fever by giving him Tylenol early and when we got him home I gave him a warm bath to rub out his legs where he got his shots. This time was SOOO much easier than his 2-month shots.

We go out with Gunnar fairly often. We're not afraid of taking him to restaurants or taking him to friend's houses - as long as we're prepared with everything we need. Both Ramin and I are very calm with him if he makes a fuss, which he rarely does. Here are most of our recent pictures for the month :)

He sleeps in lots of places.

This was the day I took him in to eBay to visit all of my co-workers. They loved him and he looked super cute!

Our first time swimming over at Uncle Chris' house. It went ok but Gunnar was in a pretty difficult mood.

Game night over at Jenn & Matt's house. Gunnar slept through our entire game and then woke up super happy...he gave Matt this cheesy grin.

Just hanging out around the house.

This was the outfit Grandpa Guy gave to Gunnar in spirit of the World Cup.

Grandpa Guy holding Gunnar just before he was going down for a nap (the explains his crabby face).

Just being cheesy!

Happy 4th of July!

Having a really fun time playing with daddy...laughing and smiling!

Starting to grab for his toys.

Just watching a little TV.

Taking a nap.

Gunnar turned 4 months old on July 13th.

After a pretty rough day with lots of tummy pain, I came home from work and snuggled with him and he passed out.

Tummy time!!

Sleeping in his cradle swing.

I took these super cute pictures over at Jenn & Matt's house.

And this week we have Ramin's mom in town for a visit. I'll try and get some good pictures of her with Gunnar :)
