September Update

September was probably the most hectic month I've had since Gunnar was born. I helped Chris and Tara plan a lot of their wedding details, work had loads of drama going on and my mom was preparing for her weight-loss surgery with a few Dr. appointments. Needless to say I took the time to take pictures but I had very little time to actually make a blog post about them.

So here is what happened in September!

Two weeks before Gunnar turned 6 months old I went over to Jill's house and had her help me take some cute pictures of him in his sports gear - golf and basketball. These were the results - SOO cute!

And then of course I had to dress him in the blue crochet that Great-Grandma Ceil made for him. He was so cute in it!

At the Dr. for his 6-month checkup. He absolutely LOVED the table paper and found it to be a great toy. He did well with his shots just a few minutes later.

Aunt Tara got Gunnar some super cool sunglesses and we enjoyed going for numerous walks in the cooler weather.

September was the Preemie's in Paradise NICU reunion. We were asked to make a scrapbook page for the NICU so other parents could read our story. Below is the page I made and Gunnar sitting in his "hawaiin" themed outfit - perfect for the occasion!

Here is Gunnar on his official 6-month birthday. He was just starting to sit up well with a little bit of support.

Sitting out on the front lawn enjoying the evening.

This month he really started to love sitting in his high chair and playing with his toys. Somehow that yellow ring always ends up looking like a bracelet :P

Every time I look up he's moved himself to a new position on the floor - he's not crawling, he just rolls himself over multiple times to move where he wants to go.

More high chair fun.

The last warm day above 80 degrees.

Gunnar was such a good boy while Grandma Marilee and I went to get our hair done at the salon one morning.

Afterward we took him to Cheesecake Factory and he sat really well in the high chair for the first time.

But then he wanted to sleep so Grandma Marilee had the magic touch.
